National Take a Harley to Bed Day - October 2

New national Holiday: National Take Your Harley to Bed Day (October 2). Mark that down in your calendars! Yesterday saw the release of my fourth book, Riding the Thunder, second for Dorchester Publishing's Love Spell.

Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace

John Kaye of Steppenwolf sang those lyrics...hmm..well, some time ago, one of THE songs of the 1960s! It came to mind yesterday when I saw one of those cool quirks of fate. When two thinks happening at once, evolve along the same lines. Ever notice how Hollywood does movies with the same themes? My editor calls it a cosmic ether of ideas and them something strike different people with a similar notion at the same time. Case in point:

The very talented Catherine Spangler, also had a book release on October 2.

Similarities that show in the odd quirks of Fate?
1) Both book saw the official release of October 2, 2007--
Hers for Berkley; mine for Dorchester Love Spell.
2) Both books are the second in a series. And the biggie
-- 3) both have a man on a Harley on the cover.

To quote Fred Ward from Tremors,
"Is there some higher force at work here?"

So you might grab our books, and take a Harley to bed
-- you could be
Riding the Thunder!
